Athens Turkey Trot

The Athens Turkey Trot is an annual running and walking event for all abilities held in Athens, Ohio. Participants follow a flat, scenic course on the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway along the Hocking River. The event includes official chip timing and offers an optional commemorative t-shirt purchase. Pumpkin pies are awarded to top finishers in various gender and age categories. Organized by the Athens Athletics Club, a nonprofit, all proceeds support the Athens Bulldog cross country and track & field teams.
