Tailored for athletes, you can choose to test your mettle on one day or challenge yourself over all five! Discover the thrill of open water swimming across three stunning locations in Barbados. The races cater to diverse skill levels, from seasoned athletes to newcomers just seeking the joy of the swim. Challenge yourself with distances of 1.5K, 3.3K, 5K, and 10K. Celebrated swimmers, including Olympians, World Champions, and National Champs, have graced the festival, making it a hub for open water enthusiasts. Earn Finisher Medals and compete for Age Category Medals, all while vying for random prizes. Whether you're a marathon swimmer or a pro-triathlete, this is your arena to swim among the best and embrace the open water challenge.

Wed. Nov. 5th - Practice Swim #1 - Carlisle Bay We will swim a 2K loop in Carlisle Bay close to shore from the Barbados Yacht Club to the Boatyard Beach Club and back. Guests will gather at the Barbados Yacht Club at 4pm for welcome briefing. Guided Swim will start at 4.30pm. After the swim, stick around at the Barbados Yacht Club for Happy Hour 5.30 - 6.30pm Thur. Nov. 6th - Practice Swim #2 - Batts Rock Beach 2K Open Water Swim along the "platinum" West Coast from the La Cabane Beach Bar on Batts Rock Beach in St. James just outside of Bridgetown. Guests will gather at the trendy beach bar, La Cabane for a 4pm briefing, Guided Swim will start at 4.30pm. Friday Nov. 7th - Practice Swim #3 - Carlisle Bay Open Water 2K Swim in Carlisle Bay with a different route to Wed. 5th, starting from the southern end of Pebbles Beach next to the Hilton Hotel and doing a loop in the bay which offers some scenery which is different to the Wed. 5th swim. Also allows visitors not able to make the Wed. swim an opportunity to experience Carlisle Bay before the weekend races. Join us in the Pebbles Beach carpark for 4pm briefing, the 2K Guided Swim will start at 4.30pm. Saturday Nov. 8th: 1.5K Swim 7.00am to 8:20am: Registration & Check in for the 1.5K Swims All swimmers entered in the 1.5K Swim race are invited to check-in at the Barbados Yacht Club between 7.00am and 8:20 am. At check-in swim caps & ankle bracelets with time chip will be issued and then number marked on arm and leg. No new entries will be accepted for the timed 1.5K race on race day. Entry will still be available for the 1.5k 'Just for Fun' Swim (untimed). 8.30am: Race Briefing on the Beach. 9am: Race Start for 1.5K & 1.5K ‘Just for Fun’ Swims Sunday Nov. 9th: 3.3K, 5K, 10K Swims 6.15am: Registration & Check in for the 10K Swim only. 6.45am: Race Briefing for 10k Swim only 7am: Race Start for the 10km Swim only Six laps (1.67k each) in Carlisle Bay. No new entries will be accepted on race day. 7.15am to 8:15am: Registration & Check in for the 3.3K and 5K Swim Races no new entries accepted on race day. 8.30am: Race Briefing on the Beach 9am: Race Start for the 3.3K Swim Race 9.05am: Race Start for the 5K Swim Race 3.3K - 2 laps (1.67k each lap). 5K - 3 laps.
