The EPIC Azores by Decathlon is an extraordinary trail race set in the stunning landscapes of São Miguel, the largest island in the Azores archipelago. Spanning four competitive distances—EPIC110 (107km), EPIC60 (60.1km), EPIC30 (31.4km), and EPIC15 (14.6km)—this event challenges runners with rugged volcanic terrain, dramatic coastal cliffs, and lush green valleys. The course traverses three of the island’s main mountain ranges—Tronqueira, Fogo, and Sete Cidades—offering some of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the world. With demanding elevation gains and a route designed for adventure seekers, this race is a true test of endurance in one of the planet’s most untouched natural landscapes.
