About the event
The Frederick Steeplechasers Running Club, founded in 1975, has been integral in promoting running as an enjoyable and healthy activity within the Frederick community. The club organizes races and supports runners of all ages and abilities. The Frederick Market Street Mile, part of both the Frederick Steeplechasers Grand Prix and the Maryland RRCA Grand Prix series, welcomes participants from Maryland RRCA clubs and DC Road Runners. Members are encouraged to mention their club affiliations during registration to foster community spirit and friendly competition.
