Gaston Lions Club 5k Run/Walk

The Gaston Lions Club hosts an annual run and walk starting at Wes-Del Elementary School and finishing at the Gaston Lions Club Park. The event begins with registration and includes a meeting for participants before heading to the starting line in the Town of Gaston. The course is mostly flat and is favorable for recording good times. Participants will find guided turns, mile markers, water stations, as well as snacks and drinks at the finish. Awards are presented to top finishers, and door prizes abound. A free Kids Fun Run will follow the main event, ensuring all young participants receive an award.
