Houtzdale Days 5k Run/Walk and Fireman's Challenge

The Houtzdale Days 5K Walk/Run and Fireman's Challenge is an event bringing the community together during the Houtzdale Days celebration. Participants compete for medals awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each category. The event aims to support the Houtzdale Fire Company through registration fees. Participants in the Fireman's Challenge wear or carry turnout gear along the course for a chance to win a prize for their chosen Fire Company or EMS. T-shirts are guaranteed with early registration, and everyone completes the course before medals are awarded. The event reflects community spirit and grateful support for local firefighters.
