Loaves and Fishes and Veterans Services of the Carolinas Run for Recovery

Loaves and Fishes of Beaufort, a Christ-centered residential program, provides free substance abuse recovery services, including counseling, shelter, and transitional housing to men. Participants can extend their stay post-graduation to further develop life skills. Veterans Services of the Carolinas collaborates with community partners to offer programs that support veterans through housing, employment, outreach, and mental health services. They aid individuals in recovery programs, employment, and housing solutions. A race takes place in Beaufort, featuring a course along Front Street. Awards are given to top male and female finishers in various age categories.
