Norwayne Alumni and Friends, Inc 5K Walk/Run for Scholarships

The Norwayne Alumni and Friends hosts an annual walk and run event as part of its Labor Day weekend celebrations in Fremont, NC, with a theme of "Continue Building Upon A Strong Foundation." The course navigates primarily flat residential streets with a few small hills, starting and ending at the Norwayne Alumni Building. This event supports the Norwayne Alumni & Friends Scholarship Fund. Participants are encouraged to wear a T-shirt representing their alma mater. There are different registration fees based on age, and awards are given to top male and female finishers, with participation medals for all.
