About the event
Explore the challenging trails of County Wicklow with the 'Run the Ridge' race series. Adventurous runners can choose between a 20 km mixed mountain and trail run or a 10 km trail-only option, both offering breathtaking views along the Derrybawn Ridge and through the serene Derrybawn Woods. Starting in the charming village of Laragh, this event is organized by passionate local clubs, Laragh GFC, Glendalough AC, and MyRunResults, ensuring a professionally managed race experience. Participants can also gain a coveted UTMB 20k qualifier as part of the ITRA National League.

This scenic course features 20 km of grass, trail and open mountain with a variety of terrain and, weather permitting, stunning views including Derrybawn Woods, a view over the Glendalough Upper Lake and the wonderful Derrybawn Ridge.
