Runner Sunday 5k / 10k

Runner Sunday is sponsored by United Lutheran Church at Wolfs Crossroads outside Sunbury, and benefits the Northumberland County Children and Youth Christmas Program. The course options are a scenic 5k with some rolling hills, a challenging 10k course that is designed for bragging rights, and a 1 mile untimed community walk. With well-marked, accurately measured and properly staffed courses, our commitment is to a safe and enjoyable event with great finish line hospitality and an important charity function.

Following the event, our congregation will hold the regular Sunday service at 10am which includes a "shoe blessing" to lift up all those who take to the roads and pray for their safety.

8:30 Untimed One Mile Walk Start
9:15 Kids Fun Run (short laps around the cemetery road)
9:30 Door Prizes and Age Group Awards
