As you cross the many borders, you will get an invigorating feeling until you reach the finish line in Bregenz, giving you a sense of accomplishment and pride.Join the Swiss marathon to experience a feat rarely done: running across multiple countries. Starting on a picturesque island, you will run towards the majestic, snow capped mountains bordering the stunning Lake Constance. As you move along, you will pass by the world’s largest open theatre, and feel a rush of adrenaline as you travel through a variety of borders. Ultimately, you will find yourself in Bregenz, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment from your extraordinary achievement.

Course highlights

During this Central European run you will not only enjoy the stunning scenery, but will also have the chance to visit three countries at a time. The path starts at the beautiful spa town of Lindau, in Germany, continues along the shore of Lake Constance (Bodensee), through enchanting Austrian towns. It then crosses the Swiss border at the picturesque St. Margreten, and finally runners return back to Austria, finishing at the stadium of the charming town of Bregenz.
