Stockhorn Half marathon

Embark on one of the most breathtaking mountain runs in the Bernese Oberland, celebrated for its stunning vistas and formidable challenge. The race begins in the charming village of Oberwil and ascends through picturesque locations such as Bunschen, Weissenburgbad, Weissenburgberg, Tanzboden, and Schopf, before reaching the first major milestone at Vorderstockenalp, where a coveted mountain prize awaits. Runners will then continue their journey, tackling over 1,700 meters of elevation gain as they make their way through Oberstockenalp towards the magnificent summit of Stockhorn. Spanning 21.1 kilometers, the course culminates with participants being welcomed by refreshments and an awe-inspiring panoramic view of the alpine landscape, ensuring the arduous trek is richly rewarding.
