Starting from the Splash & Spa car park in Rivera, this trail ascends through lush woods to the heights beyond Alpe Foppa, offering an exhilarating journey across nearly 7.6 km with an elevation gain of 1150 meters.The trailhead begins at 480 meters above sea level in Rivera and winds through dense forests which gradually open up as you approach the Alpe Foppa restaurant, reaching nearly 1600 meters. The event caters to convenience, providing dedicated parking spaces in Rivera for registered participants. This allows you to arrive unhurried, pick up your race bib just steps from your car, and embark on the Tamaro trail.
Upon crossing the finish line, you will be awarded a well-deserved finisher medal and provided with refreshments. At the Alpe Foppa Restaurant, located at 1600 meters, participants can retrieve personal belongings, freshen up, and enjoy a delightful plate of pasta, celebrating the accomplishment in great company.

The trail starts at the height of the Rivera car park at approximately 480 metres above sea level and winds through the woods which then thins out and takes you past the Alpe Foppa restaurant up to almost 1600 metres above sea level.
