The Barmen Mile

About the event
The event challenges participants to run a mile faster than the time it takes to pour a Barmen Pilsner, with the reward of a free beer for those who accomplish this feat. The fastest record holders get their names on the Tap House Wall of Champions. Participants aged 21 and over are welcome to attempt the challenge, with the option to purchase the Barmen Pilsner for a nominal fee if they do not succeed. The first female participant to succeed in beating the pour is yet to be recorded.
