About the event
The race starts at an altitude of 870m. It takes the runners over seven passes each over 2,500m above sea level. The highest point is the Cameraccio pass at 2,950m.
The runners will climb a total of 4,200m, run through moraines, snowfields, along exposes crests. Some technical section have fixed ropes to ensure the runners safety.
The event takes place every other year.
