Ryan Smith (2:52:28) was the only one of more than 60 competitors to complete the 15th annual Mt. Sneffels Marathon in under three hours.
Runner-up Vincent Dorzweiler (3:05:12) finished the dirt road course from the town of Ridgeway to Ouray and back in Colorado more than 20 minutes ahead of Brian Rugen (3:27:32).
For the women, it was Kari Van Zyl (3:40:44) taking the top spot.
Keesha Erickson secured second with a time of 3:45:05.
Third-place finisher Anita Fromm (3:58:46) was the only other runner to finish under four hours.
Noah Chepngabit (1:04:24) bested more than 600 runners to win the Mt Sneffels Half Marathon.
Last year’s winner, Mario Macias (1:05:40), came in second, despite cutting 30 seconds from his winning time in 2014.
Augustus Maiyo (1:05:52) rounded out the top three.
For the women, it was Janet Bawcom defending her title in the main event with a time of 1:14:52.
She cut more than four minutes from her 2014 finish.
Runner-up Heather Utrata took second with a time 1:20:19.
Katie McGee (1:24:01) came in just ahead of Adrian Neal (1:24:21) for third.
