Angkor Wat International Half Marathon

Experience the breathtaking beauty and history of Angkor Wat in northern Cambodia by participating in the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon. Set amidst one of Southeast Asia's most significant archaeological sites, runners from across the globe gather in this majestic location. The Angkor Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, spans approximately 400 square kilometers, offering a glimpse into the majestic remains of the Khmer Empire's capitals, including the iconic Angkor Wat and the intricately adorned Bayon temple at Angkor Thom.This event is more than just a race; it is a platform for a noble cause. Participants support efforts to ban the production and use of inhumane antipersonnel mines. The funds raised through entry fees and additional contributions are instrumental in aiding landmine victims. These funds help provide prosthetic limbs, facilitate social reintegration, and support essential programs such as education and HIV/AIDS prevention.
