The Bend Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K are signature spring races held in one of the Pacific Northwest’s most vibrant mountain towns. Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026, this scenic April event delivers a memorable mix of race-day energy and Central Oregon beauty. The courses take runners through West Bend, past neighborhood parks, along the Deschutes River, and under towering ponderosa pines, with the marathon route offering a full showcase of the region’s terrain and charm. From a free kids race to a laid-back finish line party featuring craft beer from Cascade Lakes Brewing, live music, and food trucks, the event is as much celebration as competition. With its strong community focus and ongoing sustainability efforts, the Bend Marathon is designed for runners who want a quality race with a meaningful local impact.

Zachary Boyd-Helm grinded past more than 277 runners to win in 02:42:58. Coming in second was William Miles (02:46:15). Jordan Tait got the third place in 02:51:59.
For the women, Lindsey Hagen claimed victory with a time of 02:57:33 . She bested Alaini Ritsch who crossed the finish line 4 minutes 47 secondes behind her. Diona Fulton got the third place in 03:16:31.
