Birmingham Black Country Half Marathon

The Birmingham Black Country Half Marathon is a point-to-point race along canal towpaths, starting in Wolverhampton City Centre and finishing in Brindley Place, Birmingham. Runners begin in waves based on predicted finish times, following a mostly flat route with locks, bridges, and the notable Coseley Tunnel. Surfaces range from gravel and trails to pavement. Floating drink stations on canal barges provide water and electrolytes. Finishers receive a medal, a goody bag, and access to showers and massages at a nearby gym. The event concludes in central Birmingham, close to local attractions and amenities.
