Perth City to Surf Marathon
Ashley Miles grinded past more than 646 runners to win in 02:29:20. He bested Yoshiyuki Ono who crossed the finish line 10 minutes 6 secondes behind him. Justin Scarvaci got the third place in 02:44:44.
In the ladies race, Jacqueline Kellerman got a win, finishing with a time of 03:02:50 . She finished 13 minutes 50 secondes ahead of Ann Brinkamp. While Jacqueline Kellerman came in third at 03:02:50

Perth City to Surf Half Marathon
Isaac Birir outpaced more then 1753 runners to win in 01:05:04. William Chebon Chebor secured second in this year’s race with a time of 01:05:17. Francisco Sanzana got the third place in 01:09:21.
For the women, Rochelle Rodgers took top spot in 01:17:35 , ahead of Sarah Greenwood (01:24:19). Rounding out the top three was Joanne Mills with a time of 01:26:25.

In the ladies race, it was Emily Witham who took the top spot in 00:42:21 . She finished une minute 5 secondes ahead of Bernadette Williams. While Clarissa Herbst came in third at 00:43:52

Perth City to Surf Marathon
Ashley Miles finished first in 02:29:35. Chris O’neill earned runner-up honors with a time of 02:31:53. Wayne Spies (02:33:28) made notched third place.
In the women’s race, Rolenda Giorgi took top honors by finishing the race in 03:03:19 . Kylie Durward earned runner-up honors with a time of 03:13:31. Finishing third was Tracey Smith (03:20:04).

For the women, it was Jasmin Long who took the top spot in 00:13:27 , followed by Rhianna Hepburn who finished with a time of 00:13:31. The third place went to Abby D’sylva with a time of 00:13:37

Results: Podium perennials prevail in Perth to Surf

Marathon results
Yuki Kawauchi defended his title against almost 1,000 runners along the Swan River to win the seventh-annual Perth City to Surf Marathon in Perth, Australia.
His time of 2:16:23 was three and a half minutes slower than his record-setting time a year ago but still almost 20 minutes ahead of this year’s runner-up Chris O’Neil (2:35:47).
Justin Kelly took third with a time of 2:47:55.

For the women, it was former winner Magda Karimali-Poulos (2:58:47) back on top after claiming the inaugural marathon in 2009 with a time 2:43:19.
She finished fifth a year ago.
Nera Jareb secured second at this year’s event with a time of 3:01:27.
Rolenda Giorgi (3:03:32) rounded out the top three as the only other runner to come in under three hours and 15 minutes.

Half Marathon results
Francisco Sanzana (1:09:18) cut just over a minute from his fourth-place finish a year ago to win the Perth City to Sun Half Marathon which started in 2007.
Nearly 3,000 runners participated in the main event where Nic Harman (1:10:59) finished second with a time of 1:10:59.
Takashi Nakata (1:11:35) repeated in third despite coming in a minute slower than in 2014.
For the women, it was Cassie Fien (1:14:21) coming in almost two and half minutes faster than a year ago to defending her title.
She set the record in 2009 with a time of 1:15:58.
Runner-up Jules Bennett (1:20:29) cut around three minutes from her fourth-place finish a year ago.
Former winner Rochelle Rodgers (1:23:48) finished a spot behind Bennett last year as well.
She won it in 2012 with a slower time than she posted at this year’s event.
