About the event
The Berlin Half Marathon is Germany’s largest and most competitive half marathon race, held every spring in the heart of Berlin. Organized by SCC EVENTS, the race draws elite runners, amateur athletes, inline skaters, wheelchair competitors, and handbikers, all competing on the same fast, citywide course. The event has deep historical roots, merging East and West Berlin’s racing traditions after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Since 1990, it has grown into a World Athletics Label Road Race, with over 36,000 participants setting records on one of the flattest and fastest half-marathon courses in the world. The atmosphere is electric, with Berlin’s streets lined with enthusiastic spectators, live music, and historic landmarks, creating a world-class race experience from start to finish.
