Kazan Marathon

The annual Kazan Marathon is held in the city of Kazan, the Third Capital of Russia and the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. It is a city with a thousand-year history, located on the banks of the Volga River, and a population of over a million people. It is one of the major economic, political, scientific, educational, sport and cultural centers of Russia. The track of the marathon passes through the historical center of the city and its important attractions, including the majestic Kremlin, the graceful Kul-Sharif mosque, the Syuyumbike tower, the Palace of Water Sports, the Kazan Family Center, Pyramida KRK, Lake Kaban, Millennium Bridge, Kremlin Embankment, Old Tatar settlement, Kazan circus and many other places. The route is planned to be as flat as possible, with a climb of no more than 40 meters for the entire distance.In May, runners will have the opportunity to participate in the marathon at varying distances, including the full marathon of 42.2 km, the half-marathon of 21.1 km, a 10 km run, and a 3 km fun-run. Everyone is welcome to join and experience the unique atmosphere of the Kazan Marathon!
