As Chester’s only city-based 10K, it draws thousands of runners each year eager to take on a rapid course that showcases the best of this historic city. The route begins from Nuns Road, right by the iconic Chester Racecourse, and heads northwest out of the city on wide roads perfect for setting a strong race rhythm. Runners pass the scenic village of Mollington before looping back into the city, flying past landmarks such as the Victorian Town Hall and the Medieval Cathedral, before finishing in style on Eastgate Street, under the stunning Eastgate Clock.
