About the event

The Orca Half is an endurance event along the scenic shores of West Seattle, starting at Lincoln Park and ending at Don Armeni Boat Launch. The course features various point-to-point routes, with options for extended and shorter distances. Additionally, there is an opportunity for virtual participation with an allocation for a limited number of runners. Participants opting for the virtual race option can complete the event at their convenience. Successful participants will receive commemorative shirts and medals via mail after the event's in-person conclusion.

Results 2018: Orca Half Marathon

Credit : Orca Running Nathan Ennist outpaced more then 942 runners to win in 01:16:07. He finished 2 minutes 53 secondes ahead of Stephen Desvernine. The third place went to Chris Rupp with a time of 01:20:59 For the women, it was Jessica Kosloski (01:29:43) taking the top spot. Rachel Brown earned runner-up honours with a time of 01:30:16. Credit : Orca Running Jarrett Kunze claimed victory with a time of 01:17:29. He finished 9 minutes 11 seconds ahead of Philip Johnson. The third place went to Kenny Towner with a time of 01:27:30 In the ladies race, Samantha Comte won the race with a time of 01:38:58 , ahead of Paige Kinucan (01:39:30).
