 Legese Dadi won the race with a time of 02:31:21, followed by Pierre Barbet who finished with a time of 02:34:59. Finishing third was Julien Magnin (02:42:22). 
 In the ladies race,  it was Vanessa Corgier (03:14:28) taking the top spot. Roxanne Galarneau earned runner-up honours with a time of 03:16:48. Finishing third was Elena Hodieux (03:21:22).

 Esteban Bernigaud and Alexis Garod finished the race in the same time of 01:15:06, sharing the victory. The third place went to Sebastien Gallee with a time of 01:16:41 
 In the ladies race,  Diane Rassineux scored victory with a time of 01:27:13 . Melody Lemoigne earned runner-up honours with a time of 01:30:26. Celine Aujogues got the third place in 01:31:44.

 Dadi Legese outran roughly 1389 runners to win with a time of 02:35:04, followed by Pasero Mikael who finished with a time of 02:38:37. Rounding out the top three was Costa Anthony with a time of 02:43:40. 
 In the ladies race,  Kiprono Prisca won the race with a time of 02:57:49 , ahead of Dubost Vanessa (03:07:14). Finishing third was Canaguier Aude (03:09:28).

Results 2021: Marathon du Beaujolais Nouveau

 A l’instar de la plupart des grands marathons organisés en France et à l’étranger, les organisateurs du Marathon International du Beaujolais ont dû se résoudre à annuler leur 16eme édition programmée le 21 novembre prochain. 
 Malgré un contexte sanitaire anxiogène depuis l’ouverture des inscriptions il y a 6 mois, les Beaujolais Runners ont longtemps espéré être en mesure de proposer un Marathon International du Beaujolais 2020 à la hauteur des exigences des coureurs, des partenaires et des organisateurs. Mais ces derniers ont finalement pris ce jeudi la décision d’annuler l’édition 2020. 
Même si l’interdiction des rassemblements de plus de 5000 personnes, prolongée jusqu’au 31 octobre 2020, n’impactait pas directement le Marathon International du Beaujolais, plusieurs raisons ont motivé cette décision difficile, vivement débattue au sein du comité d’organisation. 
 Parmi celles-ci, bien sûr, les organisateurs ont dû prendre en compte le récent et net rebond de l’épidémie de Covid 19 en France, particulièrement significatif dans le département du Rhône, passé en zone rouge il y a quelques jours. Une évolution pandémique qui laisse planer de grandes incertitudes sur la fin de l’année. De plus, le protocole sanitaire imposé par la FFA et le Ministère des sports, appliqué depuis quelques semaines sur des épreuves de pleine nature réunissant moins de 5000 coureurs, s’avérait très complexe à mettre en place sur un événement de cette envergure, qui a réuni plus de 18000 coureurs en 2019. 
 Les organisateurs ont préféré privilégier la sécurité des 1200 bénévoles mobilisés le jour J, celle des milliers de coureurs en provenance de la France entière et de nombreux pays étrangers et celle du public, toujours nombreux sur cet événement festif. Enfin, le comité d’organisation ne souhaitait aucunement dénaturer le caractère festif, convivial et international du Marathon International du Beaujolais, marqueurs fondamentaux de l’ADN de l’évènement. 
 Tous les coureurs déjà inscrits pour cette édition 2020 recevront dans les prochains jours un email leur précisant toutes les modalités de report ou de remboursement. 
 Les organisateurs, l’ensemble des Beaujolais Runners et les principaux partenaires du Marathon International du Beaujolais, sont particulièrement tristes d’avoir eu à prendre cette décision, néanmoins empreinte de responsabilité et de sagesse. 
 Mais le rendez-vous est déjà fixé pour le 20 novembre 2021 pour une édition exceptionnelle, sans frontières et sans restrictions.

 Charles Kemei won the race with a time of 02:25:43, followed by Renaud Jaillardon who finished with a time of 02:31:31. Finishing third was Legese Dadi (02:32:31). 
 In the women’s race,  Prisca Kiprono scored victory with a time of 02:52:20 , ahead of Juliana Carbonel (03:14:02). Celine Aujogues got the third place in 03:14:33.

 Julien Devanne outpaced more then 5697 runners to win in 01:10:58. Coming in second was Artem Tsibak (01:11:27). Laurent Bares got the third place in 01:15:40. 
 For the women,  Clementine Barbet got a win, finishing with a time of 01:32:51 . She finished 54 seconds ahead of Perrine Bonnefond. Rounding out the top three was Estelle Kargul with a time of 01:34:39.
