 Half Marathon 
 Shu Tachibana finished first in 01:29:11. Hiroshi Ake secured second in this year’s race with a time of 01:30:29. Koichiro Yasuda (01:32:13) made notched third place. 
 For the women,  Takako Fukuda finished first in 01:39:02 , followed by Haruko Oshita who finished with a time of 01:49:25. Rounding out the top three was Katharine Buchanan with a time of 01:55:36.

 Daisuke Kimura won the race with a time of 02:51:59. He bested Shigehiro Yoshioka who crossed the finish line 10 minutes 14 seconds behind him. Yuta Kurihara (03:04:02) made notched third place. 
 In the women’s race,  Tippawan Torphima scored victory with a time of 03:42:30 . She finished one minute 6 seconds ahead of Sirinatcha Phakphum. Rounding out the top three was Napaphat Sawangraumchok with a time of 03:48:37.

 Adul Tongsamol outpaced more then 1236 runners to win in 01:30:21. Thapokorn Ngamsiri earned runner-up honors with a time of 01:33:12. Rounding out the top three was Hiroya Sato with a time of 01:33:55. 
 In the ladies race,  Kazumi Kinashita took top honors by finishing the race in 01:43:28 . She finished one minute 15 seconds ahead of Lala Salma. Finishing third was Stephanie Hoarau (01:45:35).

Results 2016: River Kwai International Half Marathon

 Half Marathon results 
 Takehiro Nonaga (1:18:56.0) came in just 10 seconds ahead of Sarawut Ngamsri (1:19:06.6) to win Thialand’s oldest road run.  
More than 1,300 runners took part in the 34th annual River Kwai International in Kanchanaburi. 
The race for third was even closer with Nattapat Sonprasan (1:27:12.1) holding off Thapakorn Ngamsri (1:27:21.5). 
For the women, it was Monika Kovarikova (1:39:33.1) cutting more than four minutes from her fourth-place finish a year ago, to take the top spot. 
Madolyn Smith secured second with a time of 1:40:29.0. 
Tritthaporn Kaewsok (1:41:51.5)finished ahead of Punyanuch Phechayanipon (1:42:05.8) for third.
