The Back Creek Presbyterian Church Harvest Run 5K is organized by the Knox-Brown Women's Circle to support various local ministries, including Life Choices Rowan, Rowan Helping Ministries, Christmas support for families, children's programs, and women's Christian education. Participants can run, jog, or walk through scenic areas in Rowan County. A pancake meal, included with registration, benefits North America (PCA) Disaster Response. Dry fit shirts are provided to 5K participants, with awards for top finishers in multiple age groups. A fun run is also available for children, with shirts optional for purchase.
