Hero Half Marathon

The Hero Half Marathon is an exciting fundraising race and community event organized by The Spark Foundation in collaboration with Fayetteville Firefighters’ IAFF – Local 2866. Proceeds from the race support organizations that address important community needs and promote fitness opportunities in Fayetteville and Arkansas. The event encourages participants to challenge themselves and prioritize personal improvement, with prizes awarded to those who beat their previous Hero Half Marathon finish time. Active duty FIREFIGHTERS can take on the Firefighter Challenge by running the half marathon in full bunker gear. A 15-week training program is also available for those looking to prepare for their first half marathon or improve their previous race time. To secure a long-sleeved tech tee race shirt, participants must register and select a size before the deadline. Join us for this exciting event and contribute to a great cause while enjoying the picturesque surroundings of Fayetteville and Arkansas.
