Sweltering Summer 8-Hour

Event Information for International TravelersGet ready for a thrilling day at the 9th Annual Sweltering Summer Race in Pittsfield, MA, set to take place at Clapp Park. Enjoy a challenging race on the certified dirt and cinder track that surrounds the park, with the option to run or walk as many laps as you choose during the event.

The event will include a 5k race as well as an 8-hour marathon, with chip timing provided by Mike Melton and MCM Timing. There will be hand-made medals, t-shirts, mugs, and stickers for all participants, and awards for top finishers in each category.

Support the local community by donating to Moments House, a facility that provides support to those living with a cancer diagnosis and their families. Volunteer opportunities are available for those who want to get involved in race day operations.
